Photographic prints and canvases
Unlike our greetings cards prints and canvases can
not be ordered online but you can order them direct from Tony in his Sussex studio. Orders are usually ready in under a week.
Not selling online means everyone – including Tony – is happy with what goes on his clients' walls. It also carries on the tradition of art buyers meeting (and even befriending) the artist and commissioning exactly what they want. It may be a little less convenient in today's have-it-all-now world, but according to many previous satisfied customers, meeting Tony is an enjoyable, inspiring and surprisingly straightforward process.
Once you have an idea of what you'd like simply, prints and canvases are not available to order online or by post. You can, however, order prints direct from Tony, which are normally available within a week (or less).

Alternatively you can visit Tony at his Hove studio or at one of his Open Houses. He currently has around 120,000 photographs in his archive – far more than can be displayed on this website – so you're virtually guaranteed to find what you're looking for.

Smaller works (up to A2 in size) are printed using archival inks and papers by Tony in the studio at the Happy House. All larger prints and canvases (any size) are produced promptly to order.
Larger photographic prints are produced by a local professional lab which has many established photographers and corporate clients using their services. They are printed using the 'C-type' process, which involves printing through a digital enlarger using traditional chemical darkroom processes and can be provided as prints or mounted onto any type of substrate from simple mount board all the way up to perspex and aluminium. Canvases are made and stretched in Leeds ready to hang using waterproof and fadeproof Epson Ultrachrome inks.
All work provided by Tony is fully checked by him before release and is guaranteed not to fade for at least 150 years. If you live relatively close to his studio, he is also happy to hang his canvases and larger works for you personally.
Pastels
Helene has a small number of
original pastels available for sale. Please
call or email for details.
Pricing
Please
contact us for an estimate of prices for sizes of specific prints, canvases, original pastels and other items.
To give a rough idea of costs, a signed limited edition photograph produced using archival materials in a hand-cut 40 x 50cm window mount costs around £70. A 2m-wide unique, signed canvas, on the other hand, is closer to £800. There are also many smaller and less expensive items available exclusively from the studio.
Editions
All images are produced in signed, numbered, limited editions, which means some sizes may no longer be available. No edition is ever bigger than 50 prints, so you're guaranteed the work you buy is unique.
Some editions can be as small as three and many are totally unique works where only a single print will ever be made (the digital file for that image is subsequently destroyed). A certificate of authenticity signed by Tony and showing the number of the edition and details of the printing process is provided on request with all limited-edition photographs.
All prints, canvases and pastels are hand signed by Tony or Helene.
