Well hello there, I'm Sam the dog. I guess you could say I 'belong' to Tony and Helene, but really they belong to me. I'm a 14-year-old Bichon Frise - and a rather fine example of the breed, if I do say so myself.

So what can I say about me? I have a great life. Tony and Helene are fabulous to live with, but they are a bit stingy with the doggy chocs sometimes. Well, that's probably because the vet said I have to lose weight. I've now lost two kilos, but apparently I've got to lose a few more pounds! I think it's because of my arthritis. At least that's what the vet says, personally I think it's just an excuse for them to see more of me.

I love having my tummy tickled and eating treats (in my younger days I used to like chasing rabbits, but I'm not fast enough these days). I also love having my photo taken - which is just as well, given the amount of time Tony spends with me and his camera. Hope you like my photos (gorgeous, aren't I?). Licks and wet noses
